Girls Weekend
Headed to the beach (Myrtle, of course) Wed pm in the rain with hopes of seeing some sunshine by the weekend-but no such luck. But not all is lost, I get to spend time with MY GIRLS (reminds of an old song), Katie and Lauren. We are having a great time, even laughed so hard my side hurt last night. Made it to the beach today for some reading and people watching. People watching is so much fun as long as I'm not the one being watched. Plus, just like the old Hitchcock movie, we were attacked by the sea gulls and nothing was running them away. Two guys sitting down from us had a great time people watching us. Katie and I have been knitting some, I finally finished this cardigan and another pair of Susie's Reading Mitts (both projects inspired by my sometime partner in crime and dear friend, Becky) . Hopefully I will post pics when I get home. Now I'm getting ready to work on a baby sweater. My youngest daughter Lauren has several coworkers (2, to be exact) expecting this fall so I offered to knit each of them something, so the 5 hour baby sweater looks like a good place to start.
